The 100 Mile and District Outriders site is always under construction! Please feel free to me with your comments or suggestions on the changes.

Attention Outrider Club members! In order to qualify for Year-end Awards, you will need to do some volunteer work for the Club. It also ensures that the club will continue to function with all the great activities each year with your support.

Please click here to download a pdf version of the volunteer hours form to keep track of your volunteer hours for the year.

Please NOTE: the 2012 membership is now available for downloading. Click here to download the membership and code of conduct forms. You can also attend the next meeting and pick up a membership form there.

The 100 Mile & District Outriders Club is a club geared toward horse-lovers in 100 Mile House, British Columbia, Canada. You don't have to own a horse to be a member, you just have to enjoy horse-related activities and socializing with other horsey people! We are a family-oriented club and offer a variety of activities ranging from organized trail rides, horse shows, gymkhanas, riding clinics, monthly meetings and even an annual Little Britches Rodeo and an ambassador contest! The next regular Outriders meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 5th at 5:30 p.m., at the 100 Mile Library in 100 Mile House.
Please click on the
February meeting minutes. Hopefully more meeting minutes will be available for uploading soon. Check out the Calendar of Events page to see what is scheduled for 2012 and stay posted for future events!

There are several clinics offered in 2012 by the club. The Ali Buchanan clinic and the Cat Armitage clinic registration and waiver forms are ready for downloading. Please go to the clinic page for more information on how to book a clinic spot as they become available, and stay posted for more clinic openings for 2012.

Four gymhanas were scheduled in 2011. They have been hugely successful and well attended in past years. Much thanks to Jenn Szigety and the gang of volunteers who pulled together to make them all happen. Jenn has put together a facebook page for the gymkhanas. Please check out the 100 Mile Gymkhana Club on www.facebook.com. You can also check out our Calendar of Events webpage for the 2012 dates as soon as they are available! Send Jenn an or give her a call at 250-706-9410 for more information.

The ambassador contest is normally open to boys and girls 18 years of age and younger who want to represent the Club at the rodeo parade and other functions throughout the year. Lots of prizes to be won! Contestants must present a speech and enter a riding competition likely in late April or early May. Unfortunately, the ambassador contest was cancelled in 2011 as there was no Outrider member to organize this event. Please keep in mind that the club can only offer events if there are volunteers available to run them!
